Sparks Youth Program  to see the divine in all things...
AGES 10-15
Join other youth to explore, appreciate and more fully understand the Divine within yourself and others.
Through activities such as art projects at Wild@Art, movement and topic discussions, the Sparks Youth Program is designed to connect you to a greater awareness of yourself first and then create an empowering connection to the world around you.
Experience healing concepts such as positive thinking, gratitude, power of Divine Love and a sense of self-worth.
Discover ways to align your actions with your highest good and greatest potential.

Activities will be held at "The Attic" - 314 E. 2nd St. and Wild@Art.

Program Highlights

*Meet on Wednesday afternoons 3:30pm-5pm, every other week
(usually! - Check Calendar here...Sparks Youth Calendar)
*Participants can join any/all of the activities they would like. They just need to inform me of their intention to attend so enough space/materials/supplies can be readied.
*New participants will be welcome on an ongoing basis.
*Each program activity will emphasize an element of:
Spirit Focused Sessions
     Through Art at Wild@Art
*Beautiful Sound vibration expressions – Pottery Rattles
*Create your own Sacred Space Dioramas
                  *Make a Talking Stick

Mind Focused Sessions
     Awareness/Learning Activities
*Philosophy for Youth – by Jay Feldman (UI Philosophy Professor)
                  *Movies/Videos Discussions
                  *Mind Awareness Exercises
                  *Peer Support

Body Focused Sessions

               *Drumming/Dancing – Movement of Spirit
Special activities throughout the community will be promoted. For example, Navin Chettri will be beginning a drumming/dancing function at Nourish sometime in April (date isn’t set yet). This will be something that the entire family can attend.

I also can set up special opportunities for anyone wanting a group peer support time or more one/one time. We could create our Love Rocks! and have a less structured time together. Please let me know if your child might want to do this.

All activities except for the Art functions at Wild@Art will be by donation only. The art sessions will be $20/child paid directly to Wild@Art (scholarships and financial arrangements can be made - please ask).
